Rain...

Just to give you an idea what the rain was like about 2 km from our land.  No wonder Arcola, which is situated on that same road looked like it was hit by a monsoon.

I have seen similar scenes in Croatia, mostly in areas that are near to some river. The water goes away, but the damage is there.

We did not have any luck with the weather this year!

Bloody hell, Heiko! Is that near your place?

The floods in eastern Australia are horrendous too, with possibly billions of dollars worth of crops destroyed and thousands of livlihoods ruined. So many people have lost their homes and it just keeps raining!

Now I have read your previous piece and see my question is so stupid! I am speechless. Take care. Hold close to your dream.

That is unbelievable, Heiko! I am so sorry for your year-end troubles. Here's wishing for better weather for you in 2011!

for heavens sakes, Heiko! wow... the weather has really been an ordeal. we've got flooding on the west coast, blizzards on the east, and killer tornados in the middle. sounds like we should all hunker down. yikes!

sending best wishes!

That is an incredible video! The water is moving so fast! I hope no one was killed by this. It's a wonder that it didn't take the houses off their foundations!
